Fast-growing team recruiting people with significant Trademark strategy or analytics experience and demonstrated business judgment.    How will you make an impact? As a Senior Analyst in Aon Intellectual Property Solutions, you will collaborate in the development and delivery of strategy and other consulting service projects, as part of a team of IP professionals.  These service projects are foundational to our relationship with clients, are intended to drive growth in clients’ enterprise value, and are essential to the evolution of our business.   In this role, you will work closely with clients and more senior team members to assess clients’ business objectives and to tailor project scope, content, and implementation to best address those objectives.  You will perform trademark and other research and analysis and prepare detailed reports and presentations to summarize findings and provide recommendations/conclusions. You will help develop a team of less experienced professionals supporting that work.  Your experience and judgement will be essential to the delivery of superior results to clients.   You will contribute to a range of projects for different clients, involving different types and mixes of IP, different technology/market sectors, and different transactional and other business contexts. In addition, you will work with more senior team members on select projects involving organizational management. To be successful in this role, you should be prepared to respond promptly, thoughtfully and effectively to changing client needs, work environments, and team priorities.  You should be able to communicate effectively with internal team members, other Aon colleagues, clients and other stakeholders in a global and virtual working environment. You will be essential to the efficient functioning of our team.  What will your day look like?Enjoy collaborating with more- and less-experienced team members on consulting projects involving trademark, copyright and domain names, such as assessment and evaluation of client’s trademark, copyright and domain name portfolios, trademark valuations, trademark acquisition and disposition strategies, strategic advisement, due diligence assessments, insurance underwriting, drafting written reports and conducting presentations.Support the creation of project proposals tailored to client business objectives and constraintsActive and independent work with clients, stakeholders and other team members in the delivery of services Participate in presentations to clients, presenting select content and addressing select issuesServe as a key resource to the team by independently seeking out answers to questions and taking the initiative to address project needs Demonstrate an ability to identify and prioritize the important work, address pressing issues and establish process improvementsEngage with members of Consulting team and other teams across Intellectual Property Solutions to gain a deep understanding of existing systems, the underlying data, and how each system supports the businessAggregate and analyze data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistencyDesign and maintain various databases as requiredUtilize queries to retrieve, analyze and manipulate data as necessaryIdentify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions to ensure maximum efficiency and utilizationSupervision and development of consulting team members on projectsHave access to internal and external resources for client and industry researchPrepare to shine, as you analyze data and produce high quality spreadsheets and other outputsEnjoy open communication to leaders and team members Other duties and projects as assignedRequired Skills and Experience: 7-10 years of relevant trademark experience, preferably including time working as part of an in-house IP team with a substantial global portfolio.  Substantial experience with multiple domains of trademark practice (e.g., more than one of filing, searching, portfolio management, asset development, risk mitigation, data and analytics, licensing, monetization of trademarks, consent and settlement agreements, assignments and security interests, transactional due diligence, litigation management, counterfeit goods management, trademark, copyright and domain name asset management, use investigations, assessment of risks).  Experience with marketing.  Knowledge of how businesses advertise, including digital advertising and social media.   Experience with review of advertising content.   History of review of marketing data (Nielsen reports, digital advertising performance metrics) a plus.Experience with a wide range of publicly available trademark analytic tools and other resources, including trademark portfolio docketing and management databasesAdvanced level of computer literacy, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access and database design, with Python and/or data visualization experience a plusDemonstrated critical thinking skillsTeam player with good communication Highly organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and adaptability to rapid growth or change. Work effectively and professionally with employees in multiple locations.Comfortable making decisions with imperfect information.Project management skills and consistently delivers quality project results.Strong attention to detail.Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.Experience with legal and/or consulting industry a plus. Education:Law, MBA or other relevant graduate degree highly desired.  Bachelor’s degree in business field (e.g., finance) a plus.
