This position is under the direction of the Paralegal Services Department.u202Fu202Fu00A0DetailsQualified candidates will have the following skills/proficiencies:u202Fu00A0U.S. Patent Prosecutionu00A0Assist with preparation of patent application requisite documents including transmittal forms, assignments, information disclosure statements, declarations forms and all other related forms. Complete electronic filing of patent applications including provisional, non-provisional and design patentsu00A0Assist with prosecution of patent applications including drafting of Office Action u201Cshellu201D response and Preliminary Amendments and filing of responses with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.u202F Manage client documents for execution including power of attorney forms and assignment formsu00A0Review and manage docket deadlines.u202F Complete related status checksu00A0Manage timely payment of maintenance fees for patents. Correspond with foreign counsel regarding new patent filings and related prosecution deadlinesu00A0Prepare reporting letters to client and contact with clients as neededu00A0Prepare and file Information Disclosure Statements u00A0Foreign Patent Prosecutionu00A0Knowledge of PCT Rules and Regulationsu00A0Prepare and file Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications.
