Job Duties/Responsibilities

Intellectual property law firm located in the Somerville, NJ with offices in New York and China seeking an IP attorney for its NJ office with strong IP background and at least five years’ experience in domestic and international trademark practice. Position offers opportunity to work in a collegial small firm environment with a well-established client base, and to participate in the growth of the practice. Applicants must have good writing and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues and foreign trademark counsel. Some portable clients and experience in other IP disciplines desirable. Also, foreign language skills a plus.

Requirements

Responsibilities will include trademark clearance, prosecution, and general counseling related to the maintenance and enforcement of trademark portfolios for both domestic and foreign clients. Also looking for experience in TTAB and Federal District litigation. Experience in copyright issues a plus.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
