An outstanding law firm in the Albuquerque area is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their growing firm. The firm is successful and looking to expand its support staff. Now is a great time to get in while the firm is growing and be a part of something great!
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Experience with intellectual property law is a plus. Experience in intellectual property law is not a requirement but candidate does need to have a willingness to learn intellectual property law. General civil litigation experience will be considered. The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should be organized, have a good work ethic, and can multi-task projects.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of motions, oppositions, and replies, including gathering, organizing, preparing supporting declarations, and cite-checking
Gather and prepare exhibits for use at depositions
Prepare and respond to discovery requests
Organize and electronically file pleadings
Knowledge of all aspects of trial preparation
Qualifications
Minimum of three years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Knowledge of state and federal civil procedures and deadlines
Ability to work independently
